If you are thinking of hiking in Nepal, Raj is one of the best guides you can possibly have. With his knowledge of the routes paths, and people - he will take you on a cultural experience as you enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The best guide you can hire. They are so caring and know exactly what you need. They know where is the best place to have a marvelous view of the mountain. Totally satisfied with the tour.
One of the very important things, they are well prepared for first aid facilities, safety is very important in trekking.

We started our trip with Zero experience in trekking. With a suggestion from Ganesh, we decided to trek to Poon Hill as a start for beginners like us. At the start, most of us felt unconfident, however with huge support from Team Himalaya we did it. Missed the sunrise on Poon Hill due to the rain but still had a ton of beautiful pics and memories. Thank Ganesh and the other guys in Team Himalaya for taking care of us during the time we stayed in Nepal, not only within the tour package but also additional days we spent in Kathmandu, Nagatuk, and Bhaktapur. Looking forward to seeing you again in Nepal. Cheers.

We had a 7-day trekking tour along the Ghorepani trek. Our team had 4 girls with little experience of trekking, however Ganas had supported us a lot with trekking stuffs and preparations for the route.
We were not lucky enough to be able to see sunrise at Poon Hill due to rain and clouds, still, the guide tried his best with other recommendations so that we can satisfy our thirst for spectacular snow mountain view. Ganas is also very experienced and knowledgable about Nepal and trek routes, talking with him was quite informative. The porters are friendly and cutie as well :)
One recommendation for unexperienced trekker is that you should let the guide know in advance for more suited trek route and schedule and better preparation.
We were quite happy with rooms, meals and other services included in the tour.

We were planning to trek in Nepal for the first time. Choosing a company took us time. Through our friend, we found out about Team Himalaya and enquired. Raj, the main man, helped us right from the beginning by matching activities within the trip so that they best suited our style and expectations.
We decided on the Annapurna Base trek. The views en route, of the mountains of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri and of sunrise and sunset from Poonhill Base Camp were breathtaking.
We want to thank Team Himalaya and the team for the wonderful experience in Nepal. Small company but has great service, highly recommended

My wife and I completed the Poon Hill Trek through Team Himalaya. This was our second trip to Nepal with Raj and Team Himalaya. We used Raj and his team again because we had a fantastic trip last time. Trekking was enjoyable, and the scenery was breathtaking. Our guide Dawa was brilliant, very knowledgeable, and caring. He communicated effectively before the trek began. Then, during the trek, he made sure we were comfortable and had the best experience. Providing clear explanations, ensuring we felt comfortable during the trek. They took such great care of us every step of the way. I cannot recommend them enough!

Everything went so smoothly and well organized. The trekking was more than beautiful from the start to the end. Lots of traditional people were met on this route. Very few people away from crowds which makes sense after you pay hefty fees to enter the area. I am totally satisfied with this trekking, this was an amazing experience! The trek was arranged nicely and the staff were very caring. We had a great experience on the trek with our excellent guide. We would highly recommend Raj and Team Himalaya.

Shyam Sittaula was our guide in the EBC trek when he worked for another company.
If it wasn't for Shyam, our 13-year-old would be in mortal danger as she had suffered badly from the altitude disease. Only because Shyam reacted quickly and did everything possible to evacuate her to a lower altitude village (while helicopters could not come because of the bad weather) she is alive.
The guide you can trust to make the right decision in critical situations.

I did the Everest trek with Team Himalaya. It was one of the most amazing trips of my life. Incredible scenery, authentic Buddhist/Hindu culture, and the highest Mountains in the world. My husband and I had the pleasure of trekking to base camp with Team Himalaya. It was an incredible trip made possible by the Sherpas and our guide. We were expertly guided to ensure our health and safety was a priority. From a customer service viewpoint, we were so humbled by their kindness and "can-do attitude". They even arranged a birthday cake for my husband's birthday :) We highly recommend using this company if you are trekking in Nepal!

In 2010, my friends and I decided to hike to Everest Base Camp. At the time we booked through another company that Shyam was a guide for (the name of the other company escapes me). We had not traveled to Nepal before and were unsure what to expect. Shyam ended up being our guide on the trek and he made that trip as memorable as it was. He went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable. He was knowledgeable about local geography and customs and was more than happy to teach. On the first day of our trek, I celebrated my 23rd birthday and Shyam liaised with the guesthouse to bake an amazing chocolate cake that we all shared! It's little things like this that made the trip what it was. Everyone will get to their trekking destination regardless of the company they use but not everyone has Shyam as a guide. Now I learned he has a new company and I could not be happier. I know for certain he will instill that same work ethic into his team. Highly recommend this company and the great people behind it.

I had the pleasure of hiking up to Everest Base camp with Shyam in 2010 along with two of my closest friends. It was a daunting expedition for a novice such as myself at the time, but from the moment we met him we felt at ease. Shyam is friendly & warm, highly skilled, and has a wealth of knowledge about the region. Our hike was challenging but Shyam was with us all the way and even when we got sick, he was exceptionally kind and supportive. During our downtime, Shyam was a pleasure to chat with and always had an interesting tidbit of facts to share with us about our trek and the surrounding region.
Shyam had also hired two excellent porters whom he treated very well. He has an excellent work ethic, communication skills, and leadership qualities and I wish him & Team Himalaya the best.

My boyfriend and I elected to hike up to the Everest Base Camp with Raj and Team Himalaya and boy, they did not disappoint! I was extremely impressed with Raj's professionalism, his studied attention and care for clients, and his knowledge of his country and heritage. The trip was extremely well organized and planned, and Raj took pride in showing Nepal's most beautiful sights! Team Himalaya's trip prices are extremely fair (as compared to other companies) too. All in all, it truly was an unforgettable trip (top 5 ever... and I should know: I got engaged on the Everest Base Camp!) and well worth every penny.

I can't believe I trekked through the most popular trekking trail in the world, to the largest and most famous monastery in the entire Khumbu region of Nepal. We had memories that will always remain close to our hearts. Comfortable night stays and lovely food all over and undoubtedly Kamal is the most charming, and funny guy ever. The flight to Lukla got delayed for a few hours but we flew the same day. Namche Bazaar and Gokyo Valley were the best resting grounds. Thank you Team Himalaya, Raj, and the Entire team.

I believe we do not remember every trip we do in our life but this was made an unforgettable trip very well organized by Raj and Team Himalaya team. Our guide Ramesh was very knowledgeable and was patient with our slow hiking pace. The porters worked hard to ensure our gear was promptly waiting for us at our next stop. What we noticed were Team Himalaya Company clients who have been coming back to Nepal for years and booking with the company. It's really a worth value for money journey. We enjoy very nice scenery, although with cool weather. What a fantastic trip - and highly recommend the company to facilitate a similar experience for others. It's a great and memorable experience. I would certainly recommend their service to my friends and family who wish to visit Nepal in the future.
