One of the pioneering figures in discovering new tourism destinations in Nepal, Rajendra Adhikari, a young, interdisciplinary individual, chose Tourism as his profession in 2002. He faced a number of hardships at the beginning of his employment as a porter. Despite many obstacles during those days, his keen passion for providing top service to guests soon made him popular among colleagues and tourists as an experienced Tour Guide. And by experiencing Tourism from different angles in different circumstances, Mr Rajendra has been acquainted with travellers from all over the world as one of the influential tourism entrepreneurs, a founder of Team Himalaya Pvt. Ltd.
Being an A-grade student, Mr Rajendra Adhikari has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Travel. It is said, “He was passionate about being familiar with the tourists in his childhood days, and he would please them too”. He keeps no stone unturned to handle both foreseen and unforeseen circumstances during travel days. He is optimistic, enthusiastic, courteous, and pleasant.
Mr Rajendra Adhikari was born in a remote village named Marpak in the Dhading district in 1986. Despite his originality from a remote village, his contribution to Nepal Tourism is invaluable.
Besides, he is well familiar with the cultures and tourism of various foreign countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, India, Tibet, Bhutan, and many more.
