Team Himalaya trek and climb of awesome Yala Peak climbing in the most picturesque walking journey to picturesque Langtang Valley, a trek and climb for all types of people, as this trip starts with a moderate walk with uphill climb at your own pace leisure pace with rest and acclimatization at Kyanjin Gompa with 3,870 meters the highest point of this beautiful Picturesque Langtang Valley.
Starting with an interesting drive towards North of Kathmandu on the mountain road to Dhunche town at 1,965 meters high the headquarter and main village of Rasuwa district and Langtang / Ganesh Himal region and down to Syabrubesi a nice Tamang country type village, where Yala Peak & Langtang Valley Trek and climb begins, walking up high hills into pristine forested area of rhododendron, magnolia, pines and oaks tree lines. Around spring, summer season the region will be a natural garden with hills and valley with colorful wild flowers in bloom, and in this forest where rare Red Panda, Snow Leopard and other wild life many species of birds are found.
Langtang area, Nepal’s 3rd popular trekking area after Annapurna and Everest region protected by Langtang National Park the first Park to be established in the Himalayan mountain region in 1976 AD with an area of 1,710 sq. km. Walk continues with views of stunning waterfalls flowing over high mountain rock cliff, awesome views of massif mountains of Langtang Lirung at 7,200 m / 23,622 ft, this whole Langtang range surrounded by Nepal’s second largest Langtang National Park, and visiting impressive villages of Tamang and Bhotias with their old religion, culture, tradition, language, custom are similar of Tibetan origin. Tamang villages are famous for their warm hospitality with their fascinating culture, rituals, and traditional wood craft, and custom.
After days of nice walk reaching the beautiful Langtang Valley at Kyanjin Gompa with time here to marvel the beauty of high snow-capped peaks and then heading towards the isolated area for the climb of awesome Yala peak soaring high at 5,732 m /18, 790ft one of the least technical and straight forward climb to the summit top offering awesome views of Langtang Lirung 7,246 m, Lenpo Gang 7,083m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990 m and massif Mt. Shishapangma 8,027m on Tibetan side.
The climb is done after ample acclimatization and nice rest with practice in using climbing equipments, although less technical, however our Team Himalaya expert guide will fix the route with ropes and making ledges on the path where necessary and will support the group all the way to the top summit and descending safely back to base camp after enjoying the overwhelming panorama of all the snow-capped peaks that dominates the Langtang Valley over the crystal blue sky line.
After a glorious moment and feeling high return journey via Shing Gompa another destination of Langtang area on the scenic trail, this marvelous trekking allows you to observe the local and village life as it was for many centuries back, from here this awesome journey completes with a drive back to hustle bustle city life of Kathmandu city after a most enjoyable and fantastic time and climb of Yala Peak climbing with best guidance and excellent service of Team Himalaya.
On reaching Kathmandu via respective airlines, our TH staff will receive with courtesy transfer to hotels in the centre of Kathmandu around Thamel area, an interesting to be with many shops, stores and excellent world class restaurants, with time for short walk and to buy necessary items for the trip, in the hotel our guide will inform and brief regarding trek and climb and other important things.
Morning after breakfast at given time our city and cultural guide will guide you in and around Kathmandu at places of interest and importance, as Kathmandu Valley is full of World Heritage Sites the holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, preparation for the trip to Yala Peak & Langtang Valley Trek and Climb.
This fabulous journey stars with an interesting scenic drive leading past Kathmandu valley North West heading past nice place Kakani and reaching at a warm area of Trisuli Bazaar for refreshment and lunch. After a nice rest drive carries on heading high hills on narrow winding road but with impressive views of surrounding landscapes and of distant peak s of Ganesh and Manaslu Himal, after few hours of good drive reaching at Dunche town 1,965 meters high, the headquarter and main area of Rasuwa and Langtang region and the entrance of Langtang National Park.After a brief stop here, drive descends on the winding downhill road for few hours and arriving at Syabrubesi for overnight stop. This is an interesting Tamang villages the door to many Langtang and Ganesh Himal trekking and as well towards Tibet Northern frontier.
Starting the first walk of this adventure with a slow walk towards a bridge over upper Trisuli or Bhot Kosi River, and then the trail climbs into a steep hill side after an hour of uphill haul and then on gentle trail for few hours passing many scattered farm houses wheat’s, barley, millet and corns terraces, then walking around the bend reaching at Riverside where the trail from Thulo or upper Syabru joins near Bamboo with few teahouses and lodges, after a stop here for a while walk continues with a gradual climb into serene forest of rhododendron, oaks and pines tree lines and entering a river gorge following upstream Trisuli River fed from the glacier of Langtang mountain range, and then after a good walk reaching at overnight stop at Lama Hotel a small place situated in the middle of pristine forest with 6-8 small lodges around.
From Lama Hotel, starting the morning walk on the same trail for an hour and then after Riverside place our route diverts walking through a small settlement at Bamboo place with few teahouses and simple lodges surround in bamboo thickets, might be the right place to see Red Panda by chance, starts as the place is in cooler area hidden in a river gorge with dense woodland; walk passes few small settlements and farms, then reaching at Ghoretabla a small settlement with Nepal Army stations as Park wardens, this place located in the middle of beautiful forested area with few lodges around. Stopping here for lunch as the altitude gains slowly and the air gets cooler.After lunch walk continues on to overnight stop at Langtang village a nice moderate size village with Tamang and Bhotia’s tribe of people with similar custom and culture of Tibetan Buddhism.
Today a walk for few hours as the morning heads with a short climb and towards a wider country as the gorge opens into a nice valley with snow clad peaks on both side of the hills encountering few prayer walls and enjoying the views of mountains as the walk progress leading to Kyanjin Gompa area with more than 15 lodges and guest houses to stay with an old cheese factory, where’s the name Gompa is about to disappear which is a small wooden chapel rather than monastery located on top of Kynajin and Langtang Valley on a moraine rocks and boulders on route to Lantang Lirung glacier. A great place Kyanjin in the Langtang valley this first part of the highlight of this trip. Langtang valley and Kyanjin Gompa surrounded with green hills and snow-capped mountains of Dori Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Tsego ri, Langshsisa and Naya Kanga or Ganja la peak.
Rest day at Kyanjin for energetic people a hike up to near hill top at Tsergo Ri 5,033m. The climb to Tsergo Ri is quite steep requires good physical fitness, but offers awesome views of highest mountains of central Himalaya. Afternoon at leisure to marvel the great panorama of Chimsedang Lekh, and the Kangjal Himal, a ridge of peaks bordering the valley to the south, Naya Kanga 5,844m. stunning views of the great mountains flanking the Langtang valley, including Ganchenpo 6,387m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990 m, Pemthang Karpo Ri 6,830m, Langtang Lirung 7,245m and across the northern boundary in Tibet rises the huge massive Shishapangma 8,046 m the last 14th world’s highest mountain.
On leaving Kyanjin Gompa for the highlights of this trip, walking along the rocky glacier and then to a steep climb through icy trail to reach a flat camping area of Yala Peak base camp at 4,400m. walk to base camp offers outstanding views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and others peaks till Yala base camp is reached for the first camp of this trip after being in the comfort of a lodge, base camp with marvelous view of high massif surrounding mountains.
Starting early before dawn for the big day of this adventure, walk leads to climb to the summit depending on weather conditions. This peak is less technical but it takes nearly eight hours to reach the summit and back to base camp.
After a strenuous climb to the summit at 5,732 meters and 18,806 feet, on reaching the top where dream becomes a reality with an overwhelming success, from top of the summit overlooking striking panorama that surrounds you with world’s highest mountains lies before you. Yala summit offers breathtaking views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung and many other mountains in Tibetan side, after an enjoyable and magnificent moment on the top descend back to base camp.
We have reserved an extra day which will be as contingency day, in case of unfavorable weather conditions some times in this high Himalayan range, the weather can be unpredictable, so an extra day on this type of adventure is very necessary, if all goes well can be used on the way back enroute Dhunche, adding a short-day walk enjoying the great scenery along the way.
Leaving Naya Khang base camp, trek to Kyanjin Gompa following the icy trail that steeply descends offering marvelous views of massif Himalaya, enjoying the rhododendron forests and cross the Langtang River gently ascend to reach the village of Kyanjin Gompa.
After a wonderful time at Kyanjin Gompa in Langtang valley, heading back to forested area and to Lama Hotel for overnight stop, walking and retracing the same route for about six hours but interesting and enjoyable walk on downhill path with few short ups in between.
From Lama Hotel our journey continues with a nice views along the walk on the downhill path to a place called Bamboo with few teahouses and lodges, after a pleasant morning walk, from here walking through farm terraces of millets, corns and wheat’s depending upon the time of the seasons, on leaving the farm area the path leads uphill on the old landslide sections, the on the winding up hill path to Upper or Thulo Syabru for overnight stop in of the good lodge around this nice interesting village, here the houses are joined in a long as a locomotive, Thulo Syabru has an old monastery above the village.
After Thulo Syabru today the walk is short for 4-5 hours with mind blowing scenery of hills, valleys and of snow capped peaks looking back as the climb leads up through pristine forest of rhododendron, magnolia, many types of firs and pines trees, including various species of rhododendron plants and flowers with views of Annapurna, Ganesh and Langtang Himal range towards North West, after a good climb of few hours reaching at a hill top with grazing pasture and few teahouses around. From here on the gradual winding path into pleasant and cool shade of forest till Shing Gompa is reached, this place is also called Chandanbari(Rose Wood) with a small cheese processing factory and a monastery.
The last day walk of this wonderful trip ends today, starting this morning walk with a long descend through beautiful rhododendron and pine forest along the walk with fabulous views of surrounding landscapes and mountains, the walk carry’s on with the downhill for about three hours, then reaching the bottom near by the river after crossing the bridge, reaching the motor able road after being in the trekking trail for a week, the good road winds up for an hour all the way to the large town at Dhunche for overnight stop, the last day in the mid hills of high Langtang Himalaya.
Morning after breakfast, an interesting drive back to Kathmandu the journey continues with great views and scenery of the Himalayan landscapes, rolling hills and valleys, then passing through numerous villages and towns on the downhill drive to Kathmandu. After an interesting journey of more than six hours reaching Kathmandu, after a great memorable time up in the mountains transfer to respective hotels.

Last day in Nepal with wonderful memorable time in Himalaya around Yala Peak
A fit person with little or no climbing experience can attempt a non-technical climb. Whereas for technical climb, one needs to be fit and trained or have prior experience of climbing peaks. The difficulty of the climb varies for different mountains.
Currently, we provide Island, Mera and Lobuche Peak Climb.
Travel insurance is really important for peak climbing. We recommend you to get ensured of adequate travel insurance in your respective country. This insurance will help to cover your uncertain medical expenses or helicopter evacuation fees.
The spring and autumn seasons are the best time for mountaineering activities in Nepal. This includes the August-November and March-May.
Experienced, well trained, licensed Sherpa guides will lead and guide throughout the trek and climb.
You are required to get a permit from the Nepal Mountaineering Association. They will issue the legal document and then you will be all set for the expedition.
Your accommodation will be in small hotels and tea houses until the basecamp. Once your climb commences from the basecamp all your climbing gear and food will be carried by the porters. A spacious tent will be assigned to you and Sherpas will feed you warm high-altitude food during the climb.
Your major source of drinking water is bottled water. Apart from that, purified and filtered and boiled water is available in the teahouses and lodges.
The amount of oxygen is low so, many climbers generally have a hard time breathing and are prone to AMS. Apart from that, your skin can get sunburned if you don’t apply sunblock or wear protective clothing.
It depends on the peak that you choose and also the condition of the weather. Generally, it requires one or two days to summit the peak. Some other factors such as peak elevation and location might also affect the time to reach the summit.
There is always a first time for everything and climbing a mountain can be one of the best things to try for the first time. There are various options of non-technical peaks that can be attempted by novice climber. Our guides will lead you and train you, if necessary, for reaching the summit.
The uncertain weather and geographic layout of the mountains make the climb difficult. This means some peaks require high technical skills whereas others require no technical skills at all.
In teahouses and lodges, you will get a variety of dishes including soups, continental dishes, etc. While on the remote regions, Nepali Dal Bhat and noodle soups are available. And on the base camps and during the summit, a Sherpa guide will prepare dry meals for you.

For comfortable journey shoes have thick soles will help you a lot. As there are lots of rocky and steep trails, getting a specific trekking shoe would be a wise idea. However, on snow routes, you will need crampons, ice-ax and another climbing harness.
Most of the popular trails have local VHF Phones but, in remote and isolated regions the communication is limited or not available at all. So, in these cases, a satellite phone is required for communication.

For long Trekking for a week or more above 3,000 meters:

Gloves, Woolen Beni (camp) Sun Hats, Sun/snow glasses, water bottles are necessary (try to avoid plastic bottled waters as they make litters which is hard to recycle in Nepal) use the same waterfalls for refills where available. Scarf or mask to avoid dust and smokes.
On trekking, bigger kit/duffel bags are carried by porters/pack animals (yaks, mules or ponies) which include your heavy personal gear that is sleeping bags, down / duvet jackets and the items that you do require during daytime on walks till designated campsites/lodge.
Challenging Treks and Trekking Peak Climb:

Along with the completed form, you are required to e-mail your passport copy and flight Ticket with all detail to us in Kathmandu office at Team Himalaya (info@teamhimalaya.com) .
On receiving your passport copy and detail with completed booking form Plus your non-refundable deposit, then we will proceed and send you a final affirmation receipt with acknowledgment.
All deposit required for selected and chosen trip as per person basis, we will inform you by e-mail regarding direct deposit procedure and details.
As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charge of respective banks might apply and it should be paid at the time of deposit.
We will e-mail you the details on making payments through your credit card once you have filled up the Booking form.
We accept Visa or MasterCard only with 4% surcharge will be added as processing fee on credit card and wire Transfer as service charged by the Banks.
The Condition for clearing the remaining balance as per the trip booked is as follow:
The remaining due and balance for all Nepal Trips should be paid and cleared upon arrival.
The remaining balance for other Himalayan countries like Bhutan, Tibet and all multi-country tours needs to be cleared within 35 days prior to your trip departure dates.
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd reserves the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid on time.
In certain circumstances we will accept your last hour booking minimum a week prior to tour departure date for all the trips, in this case full payment is required.

03: Refund & Cancellation:
No refund will be made by the company for 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any what so or other reasons.
After having paid full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur refund in case if you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulation.
Still, cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you are imposed cancellation charge as advised below:-
60 days or more deposit retained
45 – 50 days before departure 50%
30 – 40 days before departure 75%
20 days before departure 100%
04: Extra Supplement Charge:
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra to client who does not have another tour participant to share room / tent with. It also applies to clients who need single supplement in tents / rooms in hotel or lodge.
05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:
No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic / medical or personal problem from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
06: Amendment in Trip Cost:
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserve the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.
07: Unforeseen Circumstances:
If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like, natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable worse climate, broken trail and roads etc., we will refer you for alternative trip of similar types and standard.
Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your like and interest, all trip price paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.
Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
08: Travel / Medical Insurance:
We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients to acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as compulsion in all our tour and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour / trekking / climbing / rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.
09: Health & Fitness:
All our Treks and Tours require sound health and level of fitness before signing with the booking with us, client requires should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.
It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.
Children and Elderly person:
An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.
Person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member or friends to accompany he / she.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:
It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date of travel.
Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.
11: Risk and Liabilities:
Team Himalaya main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignment sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel Free without any problems.
Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as land-slides, road block, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurring there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.
Flight Delay/Cancellation:
Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.
Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during off season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequence.
In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to borne accommodation and food costs yourself.

Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions will ensure to make every effort comfortable and satisfactory in all our trips, but one must understand that Himalayan or Third World and Developing Countries like Nepal cannot afford much of Western and highly timed facilities sometimes depending upon the area of travel, however we will try our best to make your travel enjoyable with memorable time while with us.

Team Himalaya trek and climb of awesome Yala Peak climbing in the most picturesque walking journey to picturesque Langtang Valley, a trek and climb for all types of people, as this trip starts with a moderate walk with uphill climb at your own pace leisure pace with rest and acclimatization at Kyanjin Gompa with 3,870 meters the highest point of this beautiful Picturesque Langtang Valley.
Starting with an interesting drive towards North of Kathmandu on the mountain road to Dhunche town at 1,965 meters high the headquarter and main village of Rasuwa district and Langtang / Ganesh Himal region and down to Syabrubesi a nice Tamang country type village, where Yala Peak & Langtang Valley Trek and climb begins, walking up high hills into pristine forested area of rhododendron, magnolia, pines and oaks tree lines. Around spring, summer season the region will be a natural garden with hills and valley with colorful wild flowers in bloom, and in this forest where rare Red Panda, Snow Leopard and other wild life many species of birds are found.
Langtang area, Nepal’s 3rd popular trekking area after Annapurna and Everest region protected by Langtang National Park the first Park to be established in the Himalayan mountain region in 1976 AD with an area of 1,710 sq. km. After days of nice walk reaching the beautiful Langtang Valley at Kyanjin Gompa with time here to marvel the beauty of high snow-capped peaks and then heading towards the isolated area for the climb of awesome Yala peak soaring high at 5,732 m /18, 790ft one of the least technical and straight forward climb to the summit top offering awesome views of Langtang Lirung 7,246 m, Lenpo Gang 7,083m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990 m and massif Mt. The climb is done after ample acclimatization and nice rest with practice in using climbing equipments, although less technical, however our Team Himalaya expert guide will fix the route with ropes and making ledges on the path where necessary and will support the group all the way to the top summit and descending safely back to base camp after enjoying the overwhelming panorama of all the snow-capped peaks that dominates the Langtang Valley over the crystal blue sky line.

On reaching Kathmandu via respective airlines, our TH staff will receive with courtesy transfer to hotels in the centre of Kathmandu around Thamel area, an interesting to be with many shops, stores and excellent world class restaurants, with time for short walk and to buy necessary items for the trip, in the hotel our guide will inform and brief regarding trek and climb and other important things.

This fabulous journey stars with an interesting scenic drive leading past Kathmandu valley North West heading past nice place Kakani and reaching at a warm area of Trisuli Bazaar for refreshment and lunch. After a nice rest drive carries on heading high hills on narrow winding road but with impressive views of surrounding landscapes and of distant peak s of Ganesh and Manaslu Himal, after few hours of good drive reaching at Dunche town 1,965 meters high, the headquarter and main area of Rasuwa and Langtang region and the entrance of Langtang National Park.After a brief stop here, drive descends on the winding downhill road for few hours and arriving at Syabrubesi for overnight stop. This is an interesting Tamang villages the door to many Langtang and Ganesh Himal trekking and as well towards Tibet Northern frontier.
Starting the first walk of this adventure with a slow walk towards a bridge over upper Trisuli or Bhot Kosi River, and then the trail climbs into a steep hill side after an hour of uphill haul and then on gentle trail for few hours passing many scattered farm houses wheat’s, barley, millet and corns terraces, then walking around the bend reaching at Riverside where the trail from Thulo or upper Syabru joins near Bamboo with few teahouses and lodges, after a stop here for a while walk continues with a gradual climb into serene forest of rhododendron, oaks and pines tree lines and entering a river gorge following upstream Trisuli River fed from the glacier of Langtang mountain range, and then after a good walk reaching at overnight stop at Lama Hotel a small place situated in the middle of pristine forest with 6-8 small lodges around.
From Lama Hotel, starting the morning walk on the same trail for an hour and then after Riverside place our route diverts walking through a small settlement at Bamboo place with few teahouses and simple lodges surround in bamboo thickets, might be the right place to see Red Panda by chance, starts as the place is in cooler area hidden in a river gorge with dense woodland; walk passes few small settlements and farms, then reaching at Ghoretabla a small settlement with Nepal Army stations as Park wardens, this place located in the middle of beautiful forested area with few lodges around. Stopping here for lunch as the altitude gains slowly and the air gets cooler.After lunch walk continues on to overnight stop at Langtang village a nice moderate size village with Tamang and Bhotia’s tribe of people with similar custom and culture of Tibetan Buddhism.
Today a walk for few hours as the morning heads with a short climb and towards a wider country as the gorge opens into a nice valley with snow clad peaks on both side of the hills encountering few prayer walls and enjoying the views of mountains as the walk progress leading to Kyanjin Gompa area with more than 15 lodges and guest houses to stay with an old cheese factory, where’s the name Gompa is about to disappear which is a small wooden chapel rather than monastery located on top of Kynajin and Langtang Valley on a moraine rocks and boulders on route to Lantang Lirung glacier. A great place Kyanjin in the Langtang valley this first part of the highlight of this trip. Langtang valley and Kyanjin Gompa surrounded with green hills and snow-capped mountains of Dori Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Tsego ri, Langshsisa and Naya Kanga or Ganja la peak.
Rest day at Kyanjin for energetic people a hike up to near hill top at Tsergo Ri 5,033m. The climb to Tsergo Ri is quite steep requires good physical fitness, but offers awesome views of highest mountains of central Himalaya. Afternoon at leisure to marvel the great panorama of Chimsedang Lekh, and the Kangjal Himal, a ridge of peaks bordering the valley to the south, Naya Kanga 5,844m. stunning views of the great mountains flanking the Langtang valley, including Ganchenpo 6,387m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990 m, Pemthang Karpo Ri 6,830m, Langtang Lirung 7,245m and across the northern boundary in Tibet rises the huge massive Shishapangma 8,046 m the last 14th world’s highest mountain.
On leaving Kyanjin Gompa for the highlights of this trip, walking along the rocky glacier and then to a steep climb through icy trail to reach a flat camping area of Yala Peak base camp at 4,400m. walk to base camp offers outstanding views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and others peaks till Yala base camp is reached for the first camp of this trip after being in the comfort of a lodge, base camp with marvelous view of high massif surrounding mountains.
Starting early before dawn for the big day of this adventure, walk leads to climb to the summit depending on weather conditions. This peak is less technical but it takes nearly eight hours to reach the summit and back to base camp.
After a strenuous climb to the summit at 5,732 meters and 18,806 feet, on reaching the top where dream becomes a reality with an overwhelming success, from top of the summit overlooking striking panorama that surrounds you with world’s highest mountains lies before you. Yala summit offers breathtaking views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung and many other mountains in Tibetan side, after an enjoyable and magnificent moment on the top descend back to base camp.
We have reserved an extra day which will be as contingency day, in case of unfavorable weather conditions some times in this high Himalayan range, the weather can be unpredictable, so an extra day on this type of adventure is very necessary, if all goes well can be used on the way back enroute Dhunche, adding a short-day walk enjoying the great scenery along the way.
Leaving Naya Khang base camp, trek to Kyanjin Gompa following the icy trail that steeply descends offering marvelous views of massif Himalaya, enjoying the rhododendron forests and cross the Langtang River gently ascend to reach the village of Kyanjin Gompa.
After a wonderful time at Kyanjin Gompa in Langtang valley, heading back to forested area and to Lama Hotel for overnight stop, walking and retracing the same route for about six hours but interesting and enjoyable walk on downhill path with few short ups in between.
From Lama Hotel our journey continues with a nice views along the walk on the downhill path to a place called Bamboo with few teahouses and lodges, after a pleasant morning walk, from here walking through farm terraces of millets, corns and wheat’s depending upon the time of the seasons, on leaving the farm area the path leads uphill on the old landslide sections, the on the winding up hill path to Upper or Thulo Syabru for overnight stop in of the good lodge around this nice interesting village, here the houses are joined in a long as a locomotive, Thulo Syabru has an old monastery above the village.
After Thulo Syabru today the walk is short for 4-5 hours with mind blowing scenery of hills, valleys and of snow capped peaks looking back as the climb leads up through pristine forest of rhododendron, magnolia, many types of firs and pines trees, including various species of rhododendron plants and flowers with views of Annapurna, Ganesh and Langtang Himal range towards North West, after a good climb of few hours reaching at a hill top with grazing pasture and few teahouses around. From here on the gradual winding path into pleasant and cool shade of forest till Shing Gompa is reached, this place is also called Chandanbari(Rose Wood) with a small cheese processing factory and a monastery.
The last day walk of this wonderful trip ends today, starting this morning walk with a long descend through beautiful rhododendron and pine forest along the walk with fabulous views of surrounding landscapes and mountains, the walk carry’s on with the downhill for about three hours, then reaching the bottom near by the river after crossing the bridge, reaching the motor able road after being in the trekking trail for a week, the good road winds up for an hour all the way to the large town at Dhunche for overnight stop, the last day in the mid hills of high Langtang Himalaya.
Morning after breakfast, an interesting drive back to Kathmandu the journey continues with great views and scenery of the Himalayan landscapes, rolling hills and valleys, then passing through numerous villages and towns on the downhill drive to Kathmandu. After an interesting journey of more than six hours reaching Kathmandu, after a great memorable time up in the mountains transfer to respective hotels.

A fit person with little or no climbing experience can attempt a non-technical climb. Whereas for technical climb, one needs to be fit and trained or have prior experience of climbing peaks. The difficulty of the climb varies for different mountains.
Currently, we provide Island, Mera and Lobuche Peak Climb.
Travel insurance is really important for peak climbing. We recommend you to get ensured of adequate travel insurance in your respective country. This insurance will help to cover your uncertain medical expenses or helicopter evacuation fees.
The spring and autumn seasons are the best time for mountaineering activities in Nepal. This includes the August-November and March-May.
Experienced, well trained, licensed Sherpa guides will lead and guide throughout the trek and climb.
You are required to get a permit from the Nepal Mountaineering Association. They will issue the legal document and then you will be all set for the expedition.
Your accommodation will be in small hotels and tea houses until the basecamp. Once your climb commences from the basecamp all your climbing gear and food will be carried by the porters. A spacious tent will be assigned to you and Sherpas will feed you warm high-altitude food during the climb.
Your major source of drinking water is bottled water. Apart from that, purified and filtered and boiled water is available in the teahouses and lodges.
The amount of oxygen is low so, many climbers generally have a hard time breathing and are prone to AMS. Apart from that, your skin can get sunburned if you don’t apply sunblock or wear protective clothing.
It depends on the peak that you choose and also the condition of the weather. Generally, it requires one or two days to summit the peak. Some other factors such as peak elevation and location might also affect the time to reach the summit.
There is always a first time for everything and climbing a mountain can be one of the best things to try for the first time. There are various options of non-technical peaks that can be attempted by novice climber. Our guides will lead you and train you, if necessary, for reaching the summit.
The uncertain weather and geographic layout of the mountains make the climb difficult. This means some peaks require high technical skills whereas others require no technical skills at all.
In teahouses and lodges, you will get a variety of dishes including soups, continental dishes, etc. While on the remote regions, Nepali Dal Bhat and noodle soups are available. And on the base camps and during the summit, a Sherpa guide will prepare dry meals for you.

For comfortable journey shoes have thick soles will help you a lot. As there are lots of rocky and steep trails, getting a specific trekking shoe would be a wise idea. However, on snow routes, you will need crampons, ice-ax and another climbing harness.
Most of the popular trails have local VHF Phones but, in remote and isolated regions the communication is limited or not available at all. So, in these cases, a satellite phone is required for communication.

As per the booking and Trip money transfer, service charge of respective banks might apply and it should be paid at the time of deposit.

03: Refund & Cancellation:
No refund will be made by the company for 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of your trip for any what so or other reasons.
After having paid full amount of any selected trip, you are entitled to incur refund in case if you want to cancel your trip by informing us earliest as possible to make the charge reasonable as per the company rules and regulation.
Still, cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you are imposed cancellation charge as advised below:-

04: Extra Supplement Charge:
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed as extra to client who does not have another tour participant to share room / tent with. It also applies to clients who need single supplement in tents / rooms in hotel or lodge.
05: Early return from any Tours or Treks:
No refund will be entertained to clients on early return from our trips due to personal domestic / medical or personal problem from any other trips regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
06: Amendment in Trip Cost:
Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions (P) Ltd. reserve the right to revise or change the trip costing rate posted at our website, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors beyond our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc. inflation, however assuring that we will put our effort as much possible to keep the present cost rate as it is.
07: Unforeseen Circumstances:
If the company have to cancel the respective trip due to unforeseen circumstances like, natural disasters, political conflict, unfavorable worse climate, broken trail and roads etc., we will refer you for alternative trip of similar types and standard.
Even if this doesn’t suit and fit your like and interest, all trip price paid by you to our company will be refunded with some administration and trip arrangement charge of 15 to 20 % depending upon the trip chosen.
Please note, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
08: Travel / Medical Insurance:
We strongly suggest and recommend all booking Clients to acquire Travel and Medical Insurance as compulsion in all our tour and trekking and climbing trips. It should include adequate protection for tour / trekking / climbing / rafting or any other adventure sports with duration to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, and repatriation or emergency evacuation expenses by any means of transportation such as helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.
09: Health & Fitness:
All our Treks and Tours require sound health and level of fitness before signing with the booking with us, client requires should always check with your local Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.
It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.
Children and Elderly person:
An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen.
Person of more than 70 years of age, although in good health still needs a partner, family member or friends to accompany he / she.

10: Nepal / Tibet Visas & Passport Conditions:
It is important that all clients should have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date of travel.
Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Team Himalaya Treks & Expeditions for visa applications to travel in Tibet, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.
11: Risk and Liabilities:
Team Himalaya main concern is your safety and satisfaction including our staff welfare, therefore we carry out all our assignment sincerely & honestly to ensure your holiday a Hassel Free without any problems.
Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as land-slides, road block, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurring there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.
Flight Delay/Cancellation:
Possibility of domestic flight delay or postponement due to bad weather in Himalayan regions which happens sometimes, in particular around Everest region Lukla, Phaplu, Annapurna / Mustang / Manang region Humde, Jomsom and on the Far West Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region and on Far East sector Tumlingtar, and Taplejung area.
Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during off season, you are highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequence.

Weather is another factor that directly impact on some trips, hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before head is must.
Your personal belongings:
On any account, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage / luggage or property even when it is shouldered by our porters, ponies or vehicles. Our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions that this does not arise while with us.
Papers & Documents:
All necessary papers and documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
