Lobuche Peak Climbing is one of the most adventurous tasks to do in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Actually, Lobuche Peak is located just above the Lobuche Village inviting keen adventure enthusiasts to scale it and celebrate one of the greatest triumphs of a lifetime. Lobuche peak climbing has two different summits i. e. Lobuche East (6,119m) and Lobuche West (6,145m). The continuous ridge connects these two peaks. Lobuche East Peak was first scaled successfully by Ang Ang Gyalzen Sherpa and Laurence Neilson in 1984. The summit of this peak can be approached from the south ridge. It is absolutely adventurous. However, the summit offers us probably the most stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam Pumori, and other minor peaks in the Everest region. For this, the climbers feel that they are blessed by breathtaking holy giant peaks. The thrills of adventure at the moment will be absolutely marvelous. In order to scale this peak, one needs to obtain a climbing permit and for Lobuche West Peak one is required to obtain an Expedition permit.
We begin this adventurous Lobuche Peak Climbing with a short scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. It is a thirty-five-minute flight. From Lukla, we catch the same trail to Everest Base Camp Trek via Phakding, Namche, and Tengboche to Lobuche. We also experience Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and its flora and fauna. As we get to Lobuche village, we head towards the peak and climb it with a professional climbers' team. The summit will be solely breathtaking. After our successful attempt at scaling it, we again followed the same track back to Lukla. Then we will have a short flight to Kathmandu.
Some travelers prefer plenty of acclimatization before climbing Lobuche Peak and also have some training in peak climbing. We also recommend you all have it before we embark on an adventure. So, the itinerary and the duration of days will vary from person to person according to their time frame budget and the level of stamina too. The customized trip can be offered to every adventure enthusiast to climb Lobuche Peak with veteran equipped team.
And, climbing requires appropriate weather. So, we suggest you make this climbing adventure either between April- May or October- November. These seasons offer us favorable temperatures and weather conditions.

It was a great and exciting experience, although I was a beginner in climbing and mountaineering. I was informed that the 6,119 meters of Lobuche East Peak was quite a technical peak to climb. But the great support of our expert climbing Nepali guide made the difference, training and sharing ideas. Which made the impossible into much possible to reach the summit of Lobuche East Peak.
Although a vigorous ascent, but on top facing spectacular views of surrounding towering peaks. Grand vista of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Pumori as far towards Mt. Makalu, enjoyed the hard effort. It was truly the best adventure of my lifetime experience, thanks to the whole team of staff and the guide of Team Himalaya Treks.
Enjoy the popular trekking and tour packages in Nepal Himalayas. 2024.

Lobuche peak climbing has two different summits i. e. Lobuche East (6,119m) and Lobuche West (6,145m). The continuous ridge connects these two peaks.
